Community rallies around local family when mum is diagnosed with terminal cancer

Amanda is a proud Alice Springs local, a devoted mum to three beautiful young boys, and a much-loved member of our netball community. Her warmth, strength, and kindness have touched so many lives across town. 

When she was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer, her entire community rallied around her and her family to support them financially as they go through this most difficult time.

Amanda's netball team created a fundraiser to ease the financial burden on her family and allow them to make precious memories together.

The community came out in full force to support their beloved friend and teammate, with almost 550 donations, and over $90,000 donated in under a week since the fundraiser for Amanda began.
